Notre Dame School is set within the green belt and there is a listed building on campus.
We were commissioned to design a new infill building to replace a number of poor quality single storey spaces.
The building will house a new art department, where a large art college-type space on the top floor boasts excellent north light, high ceilings and views across the Surrey countryside.
Lower floors house support spaces and a dedicated textiles classroom, with the ground floor providing a new staff room with separate areas for work and socialising.
The new building will link together two existing teaching buildings, improving circulation and accessibility by connecting buildings currently without lift access, to an existing lift.
